The same Umrah visa with two stay lengths. Choose by your travel plan.
What you need to know before applying for an Umrah visa
Iraqi passport holders need an Umrah visa before travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Safrat offers two options, and the only difference between them is how long you may stay in the Kingdom.
Both are exactly the same Umrah visa: valid 90 days from issue, single entry, and processed in around 14 days.
Choose the 10-day stay if your journey is focused on Makkah, or the 30-day stay if you intend to spend time in both Makkah and Madinah. Current prices are shown on the cards above.
14 days to process — plan well ahead
This is the longest processing time among all our destinations, for a simple reason: the Umrah visa goes through more steps than a standard tourist visa.
The submission day is not counted, and Friday and Saturday are not counted either.
Umrah seasons — Ramadan, public holidays and school breaks — bring heavy demand that can push it beyond 14 days.
Apply at least three weeks before your travel date. Umrah is usually arranged for a specific date and often with a group, so applying late means losing the whole booking, not just a few days.
Entry and exit dates — required when you apply
Unlike our other destinations, the Umrah visa asks you to state your intended entry and exit dates as part of the application itself.
Enter them accurately, and note two conditions:
- Both dates must fall within the visa's validity window — 90 days from issue
- The gap between them must not exceed your chosen option: 10 days or 30 days
If your dates are not confirmed yet, wait until you have booked your flights before applying.
Validity and stay — what the difference actually means
The visa is valid for 90 days from the issue date, so you have three months to enter the Kingdom.
The stay itself — 10 or 30 days depending on your option — starts from your actual entry into the Kingdom, not from the issue date.
And the visa is single entry. Leave the Kingdom and it is spent.
Documents required
Only two — one of the shortest document lists we have:
- Passport — with at least 6 months of validity from your travel date
- Personal photo — a clear, recent colour photograph wit a plain background, no sunglasses and no shadow behind you
No bank statement, hotel voucher or invitation letter is needed.
This visa is for Umrah only
The Umrah visa is issued for the purpose of performing Umrah. It does not permit work, study or long-term residence.
Overstaying the permitted period carries penalties under Saudi regulations. Count your departure date from your actual entry.
One last thing
If the application is rejected, the processing fees paid are non-refundable.
That is why the Safrat team reviews your documents and your dates before submission. With a 14-day processing time, a mistake caught late costs you the entire journey.

How much does an Umrah visa cost for Iraqis?
$168 for the 10-day stay and $245 for the 30-day stay. Both include government and service fees.

Around 14 days for both options, the longest processing time among our destinations. Umrah seasons bring heavy demand that can extend it further.

How long is an Umrah visa valid and how long can I stay?
Valid for 90 days from the issue date — you must enter Saudi Arabia within that window. The stay is 10 or 30 days depending on your option, counted from your actual entry into the Kingdom.

Single entry only. Leaving the Kingdom voids the visa and any new entry requires a new application.
